Following one of this tourist forums for Langkawi, I can read posts from westerners, telling us how dirty and spoiled the Island get, and that we all should do something, and that they care so much for the environment.
Fair enough, that's very honorable thinking.
But, the same people are promoting this Island to tourists, are trying to inspire them to visit Langkawi. They are trying to get more people there, so that more rubbish can be left in the mangroves, more boats can pollute the sea, more jungle have to move for Highways and Buildings and so on.
The true story actually is that this people are trying to tell us how much they care to build up some trust level and with this to create an easier sell for their tourism products they are selling.
And again this all is bullshit. Don't ever trust a white face living on Langkawi, this race is only trying to take advantage of you to cover up their own complexes.
